Why is there no name of the accommodation in the itinerary?

On our tours, we want to adjust to your needs as much as possible. That’s why we use a few different accommodations with the same quality. The place of your stay depends on your preferences, budget and availability, especially if we travel during peak season. But don’t worry, we will inform you in advance of all the details!

Why is food not included in the offer, and where can I eat during the trip?

Your accommodations mostly include breakfast. For other meals, we are aware that everyone has different preferences, which is why we have decided to give you a free hand in choosing restaurants so everyone can eat what they want. We can recommend some places to you, and if you would like to eat at a particular restaurant or try local delicacies, we can make a reservation for you – just let us know. One thing is for sure – you will not go hungry!

What type of train will I be taking?

Our train tours include local, regional, long-distance and sleeper trains, depending on the tour. We firmly stand behind environmentally friendly travel and authentic experiences, and train travel on established routes is the perfect combination of both. Some of our tours might include special experiences, such as riding aboard a steam train where that is possible.

Is there a guide on the train?

All of our tours are self-guided so you can explore your favourite places at your own pace! We believe every traveller has a unique experience and perception on travel, which is why we have decided to cater to your preferences and not restrict you with mandatory guided tours. This way, you are entirely free to explore as much as you want.

What is a self-guided tour?

A self-guided tour is your chance to spend as much time exploring each location as you wish. No tour guide rushing you to move on to the next location, no checking your watch to meet the group for a mandatory check-in. A self-guided tour allows you the flexibility to explore your interests in depth and skip those that might not interest you. We will provide you with a detailed itinerary, complete with a list of incredible sights and its descriptions and the rest is up to you!

What happens if I miss my train?

We strongly encourage you to arrive at the train stations at least 15-30 minutes before your departure time to avoid any potential mishaps. Some of the train tickets may be flexible, meaning the departure time is not tied to the ticket and you can hop on another train, however, that is not always possible.

How will I know from which platform will my train leave?

Most European train stations are equipped with digital displays showcasing departure times, locations and platforms. Make sure you arrive at the train station early enough to find the right platform. And don’t worry – if you’re ever confused, you can always ask the people at the information desk and they will immediately tell you exactly which platform your train will leave from!

Is this price for a solo traveler?

This price is for two travelers sharing one room , throughout the trip, during the low season , and includes basic accommodation .
